Scalefusion CEA Configuration Now Available for Zimbra Users

ProMobi Technologies announced today that Scalefusion- its mobile device management solution, has now introduced conditional email access (CEA) configuration with Zimbra. All Zimbra email service users can now configure conditional email access (CEA) on the Scalefusion dashboard. This integration helps IT admins ensure that their organization’s users only use Scalefusion-managed devices to access Zimbra email.
The prime benefit of the integration is that it adds an additional security layer that IT teams can leverage to use Gmail, MS Outlook, and Apple Mail to control Zimbra email access. CEA policy configuration on the Scalefusion dashboard allows IT admins to block Outlook Web App (OWA) and Outlook mobile app access.
“Zimbra is a cloud-native collaborative software suite that comprises a web client and an email server. The integration of Scalefusion MDM and Zimbra will help IT teams protect corporate mailboxes from unauthorized access,” said Sriram Kakarala, Product VP, of Scalefusion.
Scalefusion utilizes Zimbra as an IAM (identity and access management) platform to authorize users to access their corporate email accounts. The Scalefusion dashboard also provides its users with the option of disabling the Zimbra email service as and when required. Once IT admins delete the CEA configuration, Scalefusion will play no further role in managing existing and new devices. All the device and user data also gets deleted from the Scalefusion dashboard.
