Protecting devices assigned to hotel staff from theft while ensuring full productivity with work apps

Stanley Hotel and Suites wanted to manage the mobile devices and hotel kiosks provided to staff for day-to-day activities. Protecting these devices and hotel kiosk systems against theft was a pressing need. Along with securing devices, they wanted to ensure only work-related apps and websites could be accessed, aiming to increase productivity and avoid any misuse. They wanted to monitor device usage, restrict it to hotel premises, receive alerts in case of theft, and remotely wipe critical data if necessary. Additionally, they aimed to facilitate remote sharing of information, content, and media files among staff. Quick resolution of device issues was also critical for them to prevent any disruptions to business operations.

In case of theft, a remote factory wipe could erase sensitive data stored on the device.
