South Wilts Grammar School’s IT team faced challenges with remote management of the Android tablets given to its students. They needed a solution to monitor school-owned tablets and restrict students from using non-educational apps and accessing inappropriate websites. With the Kiosk mode feature, the IT team at the school could control and customize the tablets by pushing educational applications and blocking access to all the non-educational apps from Scalefusion’s dashboard. They could also view detailed device information in real-time directly from the web-based dashboard.
Scalefusion’s custom kiosk browser helped the school’s IT team control the student’s internet activity by allowing only selected websites, ensuring that students have access to only educational websites over the internet.
With Scalefusion’s location tracking feature, the IT team at South Wilts could remotely locate and track their tablets in real-time.
