The section serves as your personal App store. Upload your enterprise APK's here and they will be automatically downloaded to the devices registered with your account when published to device. The device user will be alerted to install the application if silent install is not supported on the device. Some of the salient features are
To go to My Apps:
Click in Enterprise Store on the left hand side on your dashboard.
Select My Apps from the list.
Firstly, allow installation of Apps on your devices from “Device Settings”. To do this, go to Device -> Settings -> Security> and Enable “Allow installations from unknown sources”.
Now, Click on Enterprise Store on the left hand side on your dashboard.
Click on My Apps from the list.
You’ll see the APKs you’ve added listed here, if you’ve added any. To add a new one, click on the UPLOAD NEW APK button on the upper right hand side, as shown in the image below.
Click on BROWSE FILES to select one from your computer.
Once the APK has finished uploading, the application will be visible under your My Apps tab, as shown below.
To Publish the App to the device(s) click on PUBLISH
A New window appears as shown in the image below. Click on the Device Groups, Device Profiles or Devices and select the Devices Groups, Device Profiles or individual Devices you want your App on.
Note: If your app automatically gets updated from Google Play Store or some other source and you do not want to force the published version on device then please check the "Prefer latest version on device" checkbox.
Once you click on publish the devices automatically downloads the APK’s on the devices and a Notification appears on the device screen as shown below.
Click on the App icon and you will be shown an installation message such as the one in the image below; click OK.
You will be taken through steps to install your application, then as you can see in the image below, the alert icon will disappear.
You have successfully added an APK! To install another one, follow the same steps.
To update an App
Click on Enterprise -> My App
Click on the Menu button as shown in the image below, and select Update option.
You will see a new window as shown in the image below, Select the new version of the APK from your computer by clicking on BROWSE FILES.
Once the upload is complete you will see a new window as shown in the image below, Select the Device Group(s), Device Profile(s) or the Device(s) you want to publish the Update to and click on PUBLISH.
Click on the App icon and you will be shown an Update message, click OK.
You will be taken through steps to update your application, then as you can see in the image below, the alert icon will disappear.
You have successfully updated an App!
Beware! This will force delete the app from all of your devices.
To delete an APK from the dashboard
Click on Enterprise -> My App.
In the My Apps section, go to the APK you want to delete and click on the Settings icon as shown in the image below.
On the menu that appears, click on Delete option.
On the new window click on OK button to delete the APK.
To uninstall an App from the device
In the My Apps section, go to the App you want to uninstall and click on the Settings icon as shown in the image below.
On the menu that appears, click on Uninstall option.
On the new window you will see the device(s) or device group(s) on which you have installed the App. Select the device(s) or device group(s) you want to uninstall the App from and then click on UNINSTALL.
Once you click on uninstall all the selected device(s) will receive a notification appears on the device as shown below.
Once the user clicks on the App, he receives an Uninstall notification as shown in the image below.
Click on OK button and you will be taken through the steps to uninstall the App from your device.
To get information on the Installation status of the App on the device(s).
Go to the App you have published.
Click on Settings icon as shown in the image below and select Details option from the menu.
You will see a new window on the right hand side of the dashboard. On the new window you will see details of the App. To know the App status on the device(s) click on the device(s) number in the App Information section as shown below.
On the new window you will see all the devices you have published your App on and the App Status on the devices as Installed or Published.
Published means the user is yet to install the App on the device.
There are few Add-on Apps which we have provided in the Add-on apps section to help enhance the experience on your Scalefusion enabled device(s).
Add-on Apps and their brief description is given below:
To use the Scalefusion Content Management feature and share files and folders remotely with the device(s) you need to Install File Dock on your device(s). Only through File Dock the user will get access to files and folders remotely shared by you.
To connect the Scalefusion enabled device(s) to other bluetooth enabled devices you need to install Scalefusion Bluetooth App on your device(s).
You can directly get the updated version of Scalefusion App on your dashboard and can choose to publish the updated Scalefusion App on your Scalefusion enabled device(s).
